Its not often that a non-profit group will shoot off with amazing success within just a few months after starting, but one organization that I was very pleased to help out was able to create such a great image and success for themselves very quickly. I had the joy of working with these talented young athletes that want to make a difference. You can see from this article from the VV Daily Press that this organization is well on its way to making a huge difference.

Now more than ever I have been really buzzing around website buzzwords. I have been trying to fill the niche that Southern California webites and website designers lack, and that's the strong need for mobile and multiple sized browsers. Nowadays more than ever, its almost a must for a website to be able to deliver strong content and appropriate content to the mobile user. Some things to consider:

SO... Yea I know, this site just got up. BUT I have been learning so much more about Drupal lately and I just want to try new stuff. I need to slow down. I have a bunch of clients lined up and I need to get started on their sites as well but I want to do things that are just testing out and having fun which most of the time you can't do with clients.

Designing for content management systems can be a tricky subject, especially when you work with a group of developers. You have to have a real working knowledge of the content manager and know the limitations and the standards by which the information follows. (That way when you break the rules, you can still somewhat keep your developers happy!)

So I am happy to say that I finally have a site back up online. It took me a while considering that I changed my mind about the design 7 or 8 times before finally settling on something, to only change color schemes time and time again.
But, it is up and I am finally happy with it. I built this site using the shiny new Drupal 7.4. Which will of course change pretty soon with another security release update.
I can't wait to do the #rockinthedesertmudrun
